The Positive Impact Center (PIC) is a Community Center with resources for individuals and organizations: nonprofits, service organizations, social entrepreneurs, green businesses, community builders - that are focused on creating a better world for all.
After developing our vision over the past two years, the Positive Impact Center, Inc. is planning to roll out our website and offerings by the beginning of 2018. We are in the final stages of completing business, marketing and cash flow plans. The groundwork has been established. We are now registered as a California Benefit Corporation and have opportunities for community members to get involved with our soon to open center. Please Contact PIC if you are interested.
On Sunday, April 23, 2017, we hosted our soft-launch event when we invited the community for a 'show and tell' and gave an idea of how you or your organization can be involved in the PIC.
The intention and direction for the Positive Impact Center is to support entrepreneurs, social activists, freelancers, artists and community groups who are already doing good work for the people of Nevada County. The purpose is to create greater opportunities for alignment and collaboration and to leverage resources for their maximum impact.
